Before I came to know our Lord Jesus Christ, I looked to everything and anything to complete me. I ran to drugs, alcohol, sports, women and gambling. Nothing filled the void, nothing at all. Well when I finally accepted Jesus Christ as my savior all that changed. The void was finally satisfied and my life began to change. Chasing worldly rewards results in houses that have foundations poured in sand. Chasing the upward goal of God through Christ Jesus results in a house that has a foundation built on rock. Favorite Scripture Verse: 1 Timothy 4:7-8: But reject profane and old wives fables and exercise yourself toward Godliness. For bodily exercise profits a little, but Godliness is profitable for all things having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come. |
